Dear Summer Productions partnered with Richmond Public Schools (RPS) to create dynamic video content for RPS Shines, an annual event honoring the dedication and impact of RPS educators and staff. Hosted by the Richmond Ed Fund, the event celebrates nominees in seven Division-level categories, including Teacher of the Year, Principal of the Year, and the Rodney Robinson Equity in Education Award.
Our team provided full-scale video production across multiple Richmond-area schools, capturing powerful stories through cinematic interviews, drone footage, and immersive B-roll. While we produced several videos for this event, we’re excited to showcase one standout piece highlighting the passion and commitment of RPS educators.
This year’s invitation-only celebration takes place on May 2, 2025, at the Dewey Gottwald Center, where the winners will be honored for their outstanding contributions. We’re proud to have played a role in amplifying these voices and bringing their stories to life.
